'TWISTED TALES'
(SUMMER SHOWCASE 2022)

On Friday 15th July 2022, we performed our Showcase 'Twisted Tales' on the stage at The Earls High School.

The night was based on popular Fairytales, where our author in our show was creating new  versions, which saw characters competing in a cooking completion, or being part of a reality dating show.

​

Our Junior Group looked at the characters from Hanzel and Gretel and who would win a cooking competition with Rordon Gamsey, while our Youth Group looked at The Prince from Princess and the Pea and how he would ever find his true love in reality TV.

The whole performance was connected with the author of the stories reading from his book and included a few pieces of mime, where both our Junior and Youth group worked together. The final piece included the children following the Pied Piper.

It was a super night of performance, especially as a way to finish the summer term. Everyone worked incredibly hard at learning all their lines and got to share how much they had improved in their skills and worked well on such a big stage.
