FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHEN AND WHERE DO YOU REHEARSE
Each group rehearses once a week on evenings during term time. All sessions are held at local schools.
Please check our classes page for more information or get in touch.
CAN PARENTS WATCH?
Due to safeguarding and health & safety, we do not allow parents/guardians to watch students while they are in the session.Â
Parents are welcome to ask for seats to wait outside the rooms and we do regular showcases of work so parents can see what members are creating.
WHAT SHOULD CLOTHES SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
We normally expect members to turn up in comfortable clothing.
Sometimes we will require certain clothing or costume to be worn and on these occasions, we always try and give at least 2 weeks notice.
HOW CAN I PAY?
Payments for sessions can be done in cash, cheque or through online payments and can be done weekly or termly.
SHOULD MY CHILD BRING FOOD AND A DRINK WITH THEM?
We do suggest that nmembers bring a drink with them incase they may need it during the session.
We typically do not allow food in sessions due to healthy and safety reasons.
On special occasions, members may wish to bring in snacks or sweets and we typically ask that these be handed out at the end of a session.
For longer sessions, such as technical rehearsals, we do offer biscuits and squash for all members.
CAN I PURCHASE TREAD BOARDS THEATREÂ UNIFORM?
We are currently working with some suppliers to create a set of Tread Boards Theatre Uniform. This will include a range of hoodies and tops that can be personalised.
We are hoping these will be available to buy in October 2019.
Please note that although they can be purchased and worn to sessions, there is not a requirement for members to wear them to weekly sessions as a uniform.
